- Crochet hook: 2.5–3 mm

- Burgundy/red
- Olive green

1. Round Spiral Disc (Coaster/Base)
Start with magic ring
Round 1:
6 sc into magic ring. (6)
Round 2:
Increase in each stitch around. (12)
Round 3:
1 sc, inc repeat around. (18)
Round 4:
2 sc, inc repeat around. (24)
Round 5:
3 sc, inc repeat around. (30)
Round 6:
4 sc, inc repeat around. (36)
Continue increasing in the same way until the circle reaches your desired size.
Color spiral effect:
Change colors every few rounds:
- 2 rounds cream
- 2 rounds olive
- 2 rounds burgundy
- 2 rounds gray
- Repeat to create the spiral center.
Finish with a slip stitch and weave ends.
2. Spiral Hanging Ornament
Make a long spiral strip
Using cream yarn:
Chain 35
Row 1:
- Starting in 2nd chain from hook:
- Work 2 sc in each chain across.
The piece will naturally curl.
Change colors while working:
- Burgundy section
- Olive section
- Cream border
Continue until the spiral reaches about 25–35 cm.
Shape the Spiral
Roll the strip gently into a spiral shape.
Sew small stitches between layers to hold the spiral.
Add a hanging loop at the top:
Chain 20, join to form a loop, sew securely.
3. Crochet Pumpkin
Pumpkin Body
Orange yarn:
Round 1:
6 sc in magic ring.
Round 2:
Increase around. (12)
Round 3:
1 sc, inc around. (18)
Round 4:
2 sc, inc around. (24)
Rounds 5–10:
Sc around.
Round 11:
2 sc, dec around.
Stuff lightly.
Round 12:
Decrease until closed.
Pumpkin Ridges
Using orange yarn:
Insert yarn from top to bottom around the pumpkin several times, pulling slightly to create pumpkin sections.
Pumpkin Leaves
Green yarn:
Chain 6.
Work:
- Slip stitch
- Sc
- Hdc
- Dc
- Hdc
- Sc
Sew leaves on top.
4. Assembly
- Attach pumpkin under the spiral.
- Add wooden beads above the pumpkin.
- Attach the spiral piece at the center.
- Add a hanging cord.
Finished Size
- Spiral ornament: approximately 30–40 cm long
- Pumpkin: 5–7 cm wide
- Coasters: 10–12 cm diameter
Tip: Use cotton yarn with tight stitches to keep the spiral shape crisp and the coaster flat.
