Honey Garlic Ribs
Ingredients
- 4 pounds pork spareribs
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup distilled white vinegar
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon garlic salt
Directions
- Preheat the Oven:
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Prepare the Ribs:
- Cut the ribs into individual pieces.
- Make the Marinade:
- In a large bowl, combine the honey, soy sauce, vinegar, brown sugar, and garlic. Stir until the honey and sugar are completely dissolved, then stir in the baking soda. The mixture will begin to foam.
- Marinate the Ribs:
- Transfer the ribs to the bowl and turn to coat them with the marinade.
- Prepare for Baking:
- Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil. Arrange the ribs meat-side up on the prepared sheet. Pour the excess sauce over the ribs and sprinkle with garlic salt.
- Bake the Ribs:
- Bake in the preheated oven for 1 hour, turning every 20 minutes.
