Ingredients
For the dough
3 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 cup warm milk
1/4 cup sugar
2 1/4 teaspoons active dry yeast
1/4 cup melted butter
1 egg
1/2 teaspoon salt
For the filling
1/2 cup brown sugar
2 tablespoons ground cinnamon
1/4 cup softened butter
For the glaze
1 cup powdered sugar
2 tablespoons milk
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
In a bowl, mix warm milk, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for about 5 to 10 minutes until foamy
Add melted butter, egg, and salt. Mix well, then gradually add flour until a soft dough forms
Knead the dough for about 8 to 10 minutes until smooth and elastic. Cover and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour or until doubled in size
Roll the dough into a large rectangle. Spread softened butter over the surface
Mix brown sugar and cinnamon, then sprinkle evenly over the dough
Roll the dough tightly into a log. Cut into equal rolls
Place the rolls in a greased baking dish, leaving a little space between them. Cover and let them rise again for 30 to 45 minutes
Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for 20 to 25 minutes until golden
Mix powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla to make the glaze. Drizzle over warm rolls
Soft, sweet, and full of cinnamon flavor—perfect for breakfast or dessert
Tips
Use warm milk, not hot, to activate the yeast properly
Do not overfill with sugar to avoid leaking while baking
For extra softness, cover rolls with foil halfway through baking
Enjoy warm for the best texture and taste
