Tree
Make 6 layers.
Layer 1 (Top)

R2: inc around = 12
R3: (sc, inc) ×6 = 18
R4:
(sc, hdc, dc, hdc, sc, sl st) around to create scallops.
Layer 2
Increase to 24 stitches.
Finish with the same scallop edging.
Layer 3
30 stitches.
Scallop edging.
Layer 4
36 stitches.
Layer 5
42 stitches.
Layer 6
48 stitches.
Stack the six layers from smallest to largest.
Lightly stuff between layers.
Sew together through the center.
Decorate with small beads.
Star
MR 5
Work five points:
ch5
sl st in 2nd chain
sc
hdc
dc
sl st into next stitch.
Repeat five times.
Make two stars and sew together.
Spiral
Chain 180–220.
Row 1:
1 sc in each chain.
Row 2:
3 sc in every stitch.
Insert floral wire along one edge before closing.
Wrap into a spiral.
Bottom Ball

Stuff lightly.
Snowflake
Chain 6.
Join.
Work six small points using:
sl st, ch4, sl st.
Repeat around.
Hanging Cord
Chain 35–40.
Attach to the top of the star.
Assembly
- Sew the star to the tree.
- Stack and sew all tree layers.
- Add beads as ornaments.
- Attach the spiral beneath the tree.
- Hang the snowflake in the center.
- Sew the green ball near the bottom.
- Finish with a jingle bell at the end.
This produces a finished ornament approximately 28–35 cm (11–14 in) tall and closely resembles the ornament in your photo while being an original pattern rather than a copy of the unseen original design.
