Continue increasing until the base measures approximately 8–10 cm.
Green Spiral
Attach green yarn near the upper section of the cone.
Work 1 sc in the starting stitch.
Continue with 2 hdc in the next stitch, 3 hdc in the next stitch, 2 hdc in the next stitch.
Repeat around the tree, allowing the fabric to naturally form a spiral.
Continue until you have created one complete spiral section.
Fasten off and weave in the ends.
Red Spiral
Attach red yarn approximately 3–4 cm below the green spiral.
