- 1 can (15 oz) refried beans
- Salt & pepper, to taste
For the Creamy Base:
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 cup salsa (your choice of mild, medium, or hot)
For the Cheese Layer:
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
Toppings (optional but highly recommended):
- 1/2 cup diced tomatoes
- 1/2 cup sliced green onions
- 1/4 cup sliced black olives
- Jalapeño slices (fresh or pickled)
- Fresh cilantro, chopped
For Serving:
- Tortilla chips

Instructions
- Cook the Beef Mixture:
- In a large skillet, cook ground beef over medium heat until browned.
- Add chopped onion and garlic, sauté until softened.
- Drain excess grease.
- Stir in taco seasoning, diced tomatoes with green chilies, and refried beans. Cook for 5–7 minutes until well combined and thickened. Set aside.
- Prepare the Creamy Base:
- In a mixing bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth.
- Stir in sour cream and salsa until well combined.
- Assemble the Dip:
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly on the bottom of a large oven-safe skillet or 9×13 baking dish.
- Layer the beef mixture on top.
- Sprinkle all three cheeses generously over the top.
- Bake It:
- Bake uncovered for 20–25 minutes, until the cheese is melted, bubbly, and golden.
- Add Toppings:
- Remove from oven and let it cool for 5 minutes.
- Sprinkle with diced tomatoes, green onions, black olives, jalapeños, or cilantro for freshness.
