Layered Little Debbie Summer Dessert

Ingredients (serves 12-16):
- 1 package Little Debbie Treats (e.g., Swiss Roll, Cosmic Brownies, or Oatmeal Creme Pies)
- 1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 2 cups whipped topping (Cool Whip or homemade whipped cream)
- 1 package (3.4 oz) instant vanilla pudding
- 2 cups cold milk
- 1-2 cups fresh fruit (strawberries, blueberries, or peaches)
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips or sprinkles (optional)
Instructions
- Prepare the pan:
- Grab a large rectangular or square baking dish (9×13 works well).
- Layer the Little Debbie treats evenly across the bottom. You may need to cut some to fit.
- Make the cream layer:
- In a mixing bowl, beat together the softened cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth.
- Fold in 1 cup of the whipped topping until creamy.
- Spread this mixture evenly over the Little Debbie layer.
- Prepare the pudding layer:
- In a separate bowl, whisk the instant pudding with 2 cups of cold milk until it thickens.
- Spread the pudding over the cream layer.
- Add fruit:
- Layer fresh fruit evenly on top of the pudding. This adds a refreshing summer flavor.
- Top it off:
- Spread the remaining whipped topping over the fruit layer.
- Sprinkle with chocolate chips or colorful sprinkles if desired.
- Chill:
- Cover the pan with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2-4 hours (or overnight). This allows the layers to set and flavors to meld.
- Serve:
- Slice into squares or rectangles and serve chilled. Enjoy your ultimate summer dessert!
