Tuna Salad Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 2 cucumbers
  • 3 tomatoes
  • 1 jalapeño (chilli pepper)
  • 1 red onion (if onion is big, use half)
  • Bunch of cilantro (coriander)
  • 1 can of corn
  • 1 lime
  • Salt and pepper (to taste)
  • 1 can of tuna
  • 4 tbsp mayonnaise

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Vegetables:
  • Peel and dice the cucumbers.
  • Dice the tomatoes.
  • Remove the seeds from the jalapeño and finely chop it.
  • Finely chop the red onion.
  • Roughly chop the cilantro.
  1. Combine Ingredients:
  • In a large bowl, combine the diced cucumbers, tomatoes, chopped jalapeño, red onion, and cilantro.
  1. Add Corn and Tuna:
  • Drain the can of corn and add it to the bowl.
  • Drain the can of tuna and flake it into the bowl.
  1. Season and Mix:
  • Squeeze the juice of the lime over the mixture.
  • Add salt and pepper to taste.
  • Add the mayonnaise and mix thoroughly until all ingredients are well combined.
  1. Chill and Serve:
  • Refrigerate the salad for about 30 minutes to let the flavors meld.
  • Serve chilled and enjoy!
