
Cheesy Garlic Breadsticks Recipe (Big Batch!)
Ingredients:
For the Dough:
- 3 ½ cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 2 ¼ tsp active dry yeast (1 packet)
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 ¼ cups warm water (110°F/45°C)
- 2 tbsp olive oil
For the Garlic Butter:
- 5 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1 tsp dried parsley
- ½ tsp salt
For the Topping:
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- ½ cup Parmesan cheese (optional but awesome)
- Extra melted butter for brushing
Instructions:
1. Make the Dough:
- In a large bowl, combine warm water, sugar, and yeast. Let sit for 5–10 minutes until foamy.
- Add olive oil, salt, and flour. Mix and knead until smooth (about 6–8 minutes).
- Cover the bowl with a towel and let the dough rise in a warm spot for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
2. Prepare Garlic Butter:
- Mix melted butter, minced garlic, oregano, parsley, and salt. Set aside.
3. Assemble:
- Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).
- Grease a large pizza pan or baking sheet.
- Roll out the dough to fit your pan — about ½ inch thick.
- Brush the dough generously with garlic butter.
- Sprinkle mozzarella, cheddar, and Parmesan evenly on top.
4. Bake:
- Bake for 15–18 minutes, or until the cheese is golden and bubbly, and the edges are crispy.
- Remove from the oven and let cool for 5 minutes.
- Slice into thick breadstick strips.
