Chayote Juice for Kidney Cleansing and Overall Wellness

Ingredients:
- 4–5 medium chayote fruits
- 1 cucumber
- 1 green apple (optional, for sweetness)
- 1 small piece of ginger (about 1 inch)
- Juice of 1 lemon
- 3 cups of water (adjust to your preferred consistency)
- Optional: A few mint leaves or parsley (extra detox benefit)
- Optional: A pinch of Himalayan salt
Preparation Steps:**
- Wash thoroughly
Clean the chayotes, cucumber, apple, and ginger well. You can soak them briefly in a vinegar-water solution to remove any residue. - Peel and chop
- Peel the chayotes and remove the seed if large.
- Cut into small chunks for easier blending.
- Peel and slice the cucumber and ginger.
- Chop the apple if using.
- Blend everything
In a blender, combine:
- Chayote pieces
- Cucumber
- Apple (optional)
- Ginger
- Lemon juice
- Water
Blend until smooth.
- Strain (optional)
For a smoother drink, pour through a fine strainer or cheesecloth. You can also drink it unstrained to retain all fiber. - Serve fresh
Pour into a glass and drink immediately for maximum benefit.
Add ice cubes if desired.
