Introduction

Ingredients

2 cups brown sugar
1 cup heavy cream
1 can sweetened condensed milk 397 g
1 teaspoon vanilla

Instructions
Preheat oven to 175 C. Line a 23 × 33 cm pan with parchment.
Mix butter powdered sugar vanilla and salt. Add flour to form a soft dough.
Press dough into the pan and bake 15 to 18 minutes until lightly golden.
Spread chopped nuts over the warm shortbread.
In a large pot melt butter. Add brown sugar cream and condensed milk. Stir over medium heat until boiling.
Once boiling cook 8 to 10 minutes stirring constantly until thick.
Remove from heat and add vanilla and salt.
Pour caramel over nuts and smooth the top.
Cool at room temperature then refrigerate 2 to 3 hours.
Cut into squares.
