- inc = increase

- Base
- Make a magic ring.
- Crochet 6 sc into the ring.
- Pull the ring closed.
- Continue working in rounds.
- Create the spiral
- Round 2: 2 sc in each stitch around — 12 sts.
- Round 3: (sc, inc) around — 18 sts.
- Round 4: (2 sc, inc) around — 24 sts.
- Continue with sc while gradually increasing only when necessary to keep the piece slightly open.
- Work several rounds until you have a long, flexible spiral.
- To create the characteristic corkscrew shape, make the outer edge slightly wider than the inner edge.

Decorative Beads
