Center Motif
With pastel variegated yarn:
Round 1:
Make a magic ring and crochet 8 sc into the ring. Close with a slip stitch.
Round 2:
Ch 2. Work 2 dc in each stitch around. Join.
Round 3:
1 dc in the next stitch, 2 dc in the following stitch.
Repeat around.
Round 4:
Continue increasing evenly until the piece forms a small, slightly oval/diamond-shaped motif.
Fasten off and weave in the end.
Edging
Attach cream/white yarn around the outside and crochet 1 round of sc.
Make 6 pieces in different pastel color combinations.
- Create the Spiral
Place two motifs back-to-back/alternating along a central cord.
Using cream yarn:
Chain 35–45, depending on the desired length.
Secure one motif at the top, then gently twist the following motifs around the center cord so they form the continuous spiral shape shown in the picture.
Sew each motif securely to the central cord.
For a longer decoration, increase the number of motifs rather than making each motif excessively large.
- Crochet Heart
Heart
Using lavender yarn:
Round 1:
Make a magic ring and crochet 6 sc.
Round 2:
2 sc in each stitch around.
Round 3–5:
Increase gradually to create the two rounded upper sections.
Create the center indentation by working a few decreases between the two rounded sections.
Continue around the lower portion, decreasing toward the point.
Stuff lightly with fiberfill before completely closing.
Fasten off and sew the opening closed.
- Beads
Place:
- One bead underneath the spiral.
- The crochet heart.
- One bead underneath the heart.
- A small bead above the tassel.
Secure each bead firmly with the yarn.
- Multicolor Tassel
Cut several strands of:
- Pink
- Lavender
- Blue
- Mint
- White
- Yellow
Cut them approximately 20–25 cm long.
Fold the strands in half and tie them together at the top.
Wrap matching yarn around the upper section several times to form the tassel head.
Trim the ends evenly.
- Hanging Loop
At the very top:
Chain 20–25 with lavender or cream yarn.
Slip stitch along the chain if desired.
Attach both ends securely to the first crochet motif.
Final Assembly
From top to bottom:
Hanging loop → bead → 6 pastel spiral motifs → bead → lavender heart → bead → multicolor tassel
Gently shape each spiral section so the decoration hangs straight and the pastel colors remain visible.
