Materials
- Sport or DK cotton yarn in rainbow colors
- 2.5–3 mm crochet hook
- Yarn needle

Abbreviations
- ch = chain
- sc = single crochet
- hdc = half double crochet
- dc = double crochet

Foundation
Ch 70.
Row 1
Starting in the 2nd chain from hook:
2 sc in each chain across.
Fasten off.
The strip will naturally curl into a spiral.
Edging
Join a contrasting color.
Work:
sl st, (sc, hdc, sc) into every second stitch around the entire strip.
Fasten off.
Rainbow Color Sequence
Change yarn every 2–3 rows while crocheting the strip:
Pink → Orange → Yellow → Green → Turquoise → Blue → Purple → White → Repeat.
Hanging Loop
Cut a 30 cm cord.
Fold in half and knot.
Attach securely to the top.
Finishing
Shape the spiral by gently twisting it.
