Materials: Worsted weight yarn in white, black, red, light blue, light green, dark green, brown, orange, and gold, 3.0–3.5 mm crochet hook, fiberfill, floral wire, 6–8 mm safety eyes or black embroidery thread, yarn needle, stitch markers, small jingle bells, gold cord.

Snowman Head: Round 1: MR, 6 sc. Round 2: inc around (12). Round 3: (sc, inc) ×6 (18). Round 4: (2 sc, inc) ×6 (24). Round 5: (3 sc, inc) ×6 (30). Rounds 6–10: sc around. Round 11: (3 sc, dec) ×6 (24). Round 12: (2 sc, dec) ×6 (18). Stuff firmly. Round 13: (sc, dec) ×6 (12). Round 14: dec around (6). Fasten off.
Snowman Body: Round 1: MR, 6 sc. Round 2: inc around (12). Round 3: (sc, inc) ×6 (18). Round 4: (2 sc, inc) ×6 (24). Round 5: (3 sc, inc) ×6 (30). Rounds 6–12: sc around. Round 13: (3 sc, dec) ×6 (24). Round 14: (2 sc, dec) ×6 (18). Stuff. Round 15: (sc, dec) ×6 (12). Round 16: dec around. Fasten off and sew the head to the body.
Nose: With orange yarn, MR, 4 sc. Work 3 rounds of 4 sc. Fasten off and sew to the face.
Hat: With black yarn, MR, 6 sc. Increase evenly to 36 stitches. Work 8 rounds even. Increase to 48 stitches for the brim and finish with one round of slip stitches. Add a red or blue stripe.
Scarf: Chain 55. Work 1 sc in each chain. Add fringe to both ends.
Arms: Chain 10. Work back with slip stitches. Make two.
Spiral Tail: With white yarn, chain 80–100. Work 3 sc in every chain to create a spiral. Insert floral wire through the center to help the spiral hold its shape.
Christmas Tree: Crochet three layered green circles. Begin each layer with MR, 6 sc, increasing evenly until the desired size is reached. Finish each layer with shell edging using (3 dc, ch 2, 3 dc) around. Make one large, one medium, and one small layer, then stack and sew them together.
Tree Trunk: With brown yarn, MR, 6 sc. Work 8 rounds even. Stuff lightly and attach beneath the tree.
Star: With gold yarn, MR, 10 sc. Form five points by chaining 5 and slip stitching back along each chain. Sew to the top of the tree.
Assembly: Make two snowmen. Attach the hats, scarves, noses, eyes, and buttons. Sew a spiral beneath each snowman. Decorate the Christmas tree with bells and gold cord. Attach the gold star to the top and add hanging loops to all ornaments. The finished set includes two spiral snowmen and one layered Christmas tree ornament ready for Christmas decorating.
