Hanging Loop

Chain 25.

Join with a slip stitch to form a loop.

Fasten off.

Star (Make 2)

Round 1

Make a Magic Ring.

Work 12 sc into the ring.

Join with a slip stitch.

Round 2

In each second stitch work:

sc, hdc, dc, hdc, sc

Repeat six times to form six star points.

Join.

Round 3

Work one round of sc evenly around the entire star.

Fasten off.

Place both stars together and crochet around the edges with sc.

Lightly stuff if desired.

Snowflake Appliqué

With white yarn make a Magic Ring.

Round 1

Repeat six times:

Ch 3, sl st into the ring.

Round 2

Into each loop work:

sc, hdc, picot, hdc, sc

Fasten off and sew to the center of the star.

Spiral Tree

Chain 90.

Starting in the second chain from the hook, work 3 sc in every chain across.

The strip will naturally curl into a spiral.

Fasten off.

Bell

Round 1

Magic Ring, 6 sc.

Round 2

Increase in every stitch (12).

Round 3

(sc, inc) × 6 (18).

Round 4

18 sc.

Round 5

(sc 2, inc) × 6 (24).

Rounds 6–10

24 sc.

Round 11

24 sc in BLO.

Round 12

(sc 3, inc) × 6 (30).

Round 13

30 sc.

Fasten off.

Lightly stuff if desired.

Holly Leaves (Make 2)

Chain 8.

Working back along the chain:

sl st, sc, hdc, dc, hdc, sc, sl st.

Fasten off.

Berries

Make three small Magic Rings with 4 sc each.

Fasten off.

Sew them together.

Assembly

Sew the snowflake onto the star.

Attach the hanging loop to the top.

Add a gold bead below the star.

Sew the spiral beneath the bead.

Attach another bead.

Sew the bell to the bottom of the spiral.

Attach the holly leaves and berries to the bell.

Finish by attaching the jingle bell underneath.
