Crack Dip (Party Size Recipe)

Ingredients:
- 4 cups sour cream (2 large 16 oz containers)
- 2 cups mayonnaise
- 3 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 packet ranch dressing mix (or 2 tbsp if bulk)
- 1 packet dry onion soup mix (optional, for extra flavor)
- 1 1/2 cups bacon bits (real bacon preferred)
- 1 1/2 cups chopped green onions (or chives)
- 1 (4 oz) can diced green chilies or jalapeños (optional for spice)
- 1 1/2 cups chopped black olives (optional)
- Salt and pepper to taste
Directions:
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the sour cream and mayonnaise.
- Stir in the ranch dressing mix and onion soup mix until well blended.
- Add the cheddar cheese, bacon bits, green onions, and any optional ingredients (like chilies or olives).
- Mix thoroughly until everything is evenly coated.
- Cover and chill for at least 2 hours, preferably overnight to let the flavors develop.
- Serve with Fritos, tortilla chips, crackers, or veggie sticks.
Storage:
- Store in an airtight container in the fridge.
- Keeps well for 3–4 days.
