Ingredients:
- 2-pound sirloin steak (3/4 inch thick)
- 1 tablespoon of brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon of salt
- 1/2 teaspoon of onion powder
- 2 teaspoons of black pepper
- 1 teaspoon of paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon of turmeric
- 1 teaspoon of chili powder
- 1/2 teaspoon of garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon of garlic salt
- 1/2 teaspoon of cornstarch
Procedure:
- Place all the ingredients in a sealed, airtight bag and seal it tightly.
- Shake the bag to thoroughly mix all the ingredients.
- Generously sprinkle the seasoning mixture onto each side of the steak.
- Allow the steak to stay with the seasoning for at least 40 minutes.
- Preheat the grill to 400 degrees Fahrenheit (200 degrees Celsius).
- Spray or brush the grill grates with oil, using vegetable oil, olive oil, or canola oil.
- Place the steaks on the hot grill and cook for 3–5 minutes on each side, depending on your preferred level of oneness.
- Flip the steaks and grill for another 3–5 minutes, again based on your preference.
- Remove the steaks from the grill and let them rest for a minimum of 5 minutes before slicing or serving. Enjoy your meal!
