Ingredients:
- 2 pounds of sirloin steak
- 1 tablespoon of brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon of salt
- 1/2 teaspoon of onion powder
- 2 teaspoons of black pepper
- 1 teaspoon of paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon of turmeric
- 1 teaspoon of chili powder
- 1/2 teaspoon of garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon of garlic salt
- 1/2 teaspoon of cornstarch
Instructions:
- Combine all the ingredients in a securely sealed ziplock bag. Shake the bag vigorously to ensure thorough mixing of the ingredients.
- Generously apply the seasoning mixture to both sides of the steak.
- Allow the steak to marinate with the seasoning for a minimum of 40 minutes at room temperature for optimal flavor.
- Preheat your grill to 400 degrees Fahrenheit (200 degrees Celsius).
- Prepare the grill grates by either spraying them with oil or wiping them with an oil-soaked cloth. You can use vegetable oil, olive oil, or canola oil for this step.
- Place the seasoned steaks on the hot grill and cook for 3 to 5 minutes on each side, adjusting the cooking time based on your preferred level of oneness.
- Once the steaks are done, remove them from the grill and let them rest for at least 5 minutes before slicing or serving.
