INGREDIENTS:

 

°2 lb (0.91 kg) lean ground beef

 

°½ cup onions (chopped)

 

°¼ C chopped red peppers

 

°¼ C chopped green peppers

 

°1 T Salt, pepper, garlic salt

 

°½ t dry mustard

 

°½ cup prepared cheese sauce, see recipe under “Sauces”

 

°½ cup grated cheddar cheese or use your favorite

+Sloppy Joe Sauce:

 

°½ cup ketchup

 

°3 T Worcestershire Sauce

 

°1 cup (0.24 l) (0.24 l) brown sugar

 

°½ t Salt, pepper, onion powder and garlic salt

 

°4-6 flour tortillas (wheat can be replaced)

 

°1 T oil

 

*Instructions

 

Mix the ground beef with your seasonings.

 

Over medium-high heat, brown the seasoned ground beef for about 6 to 8 minutes.

 

Add the onion, red and green peppers and cook for another 2 minutes, until the vegetables are tender. Keep warm.

 

In another bowl, combine the ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, brown sugar, salt, onion powder and pepper. Mix well. Pour over beef, keep warm.

 

Using large flour tortillas, add the mixture to the center.

 

Add the cheese sauce to the beef mixture. Top with the grated cheese. Stir into a burrito and fry with oil for 1 minute per side over medium heat. Serve hot.

For an extra kick of flavor, add diced jalapeños or a dash of hot sauce to the Sloppy Joe mixture.
