  • 1/2 cup fresh shredded Parmesan or Italian cheese

Instructions:

  1. Preheat Oven:
  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  1. Season and Sear the Chicken:
  • Season the chicken thighs with onion powder, garlic powder, Cajun seasoning, pepper, paprika, and Italian herbs.
  • In a skillet, heat a small amount of olive oil over medium-high heat.
  • Pan-sear the chicken thighs on both sides until they are golden brown. This should take about 3-4 minutes per side.
  • Transfer the seared chicken thighs to a separate baking pan.
  1. Prepare the Sauce:
  • In the same skillet used for the chicken, add 2 tablespoons of butter and the minced garlic. Cook for about 3 minutes until the garlic is fragrant.
  • Add the chicken broth, sun-dried tomatoes, and heavy whipping cream. Stir to combine.
  • Add 1 tablespoon of white cooking wine, salt, pepper, and Italian herbs to taste. Allow the sauce to simmer for a few minutes.
  • Gradually add the shredded Parmesan or Italian cheese while constantly stirring until the cheese is fully melted and the sauce is creamy.
  1. Bake the Chicken:
  • Pour the prepared sauce over the chicken thighs in the baking pan.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the chicken is fully cooked through and the sauce is bubbly.
