Instruction

Ingredients

6 medium Yukon Gold or Russet potatoes, peeled and thinly sliced

3 tablespoons butter

3 tablespoons all-purpose flour

1 cup heavy cream

2 cups shredded cheddar cheese

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1/2 teaspoon dried thyme

1/4 teaspoon paprika

Method

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.

Add the garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, thyme, paprika, and 1 1/2 cups of the shredded cheese. Stir until melted.

Arrange half of the sliced potatoes in the prepared baking dish. Pour half of the cheese sauce over the potatoes.

Repeat with the remaining potatoes and sauce. Sprinkle the remaining cheese evenly over the top.

Cover with foil and bake for 50 minutes.
