Ingredients:
2 slices of bread (white, wheat, sourdough or any other type you prefer)
2-3 slices of cheese (Cheddar, Swiss, Gouda, etc.)
1-2 tablespoons of butter
PREPARATION:
Heat nonstick skillet on medium heat.
Spreading butter on one side of every slice of bread.
Placing slice of bread, buttered side down, on pan.
Spread the cheese slices on top of the bread in the pan.
Placing second slice of bread, buttered side up, on cheese.
Bake until bottom slice of bread is golden brown and cheese has begun to melt, about 3 to 5 minutes.
Gently flip the sandwich using a spatula.
Bake until second slice of bread is golden brown and cheese is completely melted, another 3 to 5 minutes.
Remove from pan and let cool for a minute or two.
Cutting in half, if desired, also serve hot.
