Strawberry Cheesecake-Stuffed French Toast

Ingredients:

For the strawberry cheesecake filling:

8 ounces cream cheese, softened
1/4 cup powdered sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 cup fresh strawberries, chopped

For the French toast:

8 slices of bread (such as brioche or challah)
4 large eggs
1/2 cup milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Butter or oil for frying

To Serve:

Maple syrup
Fresh strawberries, extra for garnish
Powdered sugar (optional)

Instructions:
