Oven Baked BBQ Ribs

Introduction
These oven baked BBQ ribs are tender, juicy, and packed with smoky-sweet flavor. Slow-cooked in the oven and finished with a sticky barbecue glaze, they come out fall-off-the-bone delicious without needing a grill.

Ingredients
3–4 lbs pork ribs
1 cup BBQ sauce
1 tablespoon brown sugar
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon smoked paprika
Salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions
Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C)
Remove the thin membrane from the back of the ribs for better tenderness
Pat ribs dry with paper towels
Season both sides with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, and brown sugar
Wrap ribs tightly in aluminum foil and place on a baking sheet
Bake in the oven for about 2.5 to 3 hours until tender

Carefully remove ribs from foil and place them on a lined baking sheet
Brush generously with BBQ sauce
Increase oven temperature to 400°F (200°C)
Bake uncovered for 10–15 minutes until the sauce caramelizes

Method
Slow baking allows the ribs to break down and become tender, while the final high heat step creates a rich, sticky glaze on the outside. Wrapping in foil locks in moisture and flavor.
