MINI CHERRY CHEESE DANISHES

INGREDIENTS:

• 1 can of Pillsbury Crescent Rolls
• A few tablespoons of flour (for dusting)
• For the Filling:
  • 120 grams of soft cream cheese
  • 1/3 cup of granulated sugar
  • Vanilla extract
• For the Cherry Pie Filling:
  • One medium-sized box of cherry pie filling
• For the Icing:
  • 1/3 cup of confectioners’ sugar (icing sugar)
  • 2 teaspoons of milk

DIRECTIONS:

Step 1:

1. Open the can of Pillsbury Crescent Rolls and slice them into thin slices using a serrated knife, making approximately 10 slices.

Step 2: 2. Place each strip onto a cookie sheet lined with parchment paper.

Step 3: 3. To flatten each roll, use a measuring cup to create a small well in the center.

Step 4: 4. Use a small amount of flour to prevent sticking, then press down with your fingertips.

For the Filling:

Step 5: 5. Mix all the filling ingredients together until smooth.

Step 6: 6. In each Danish, spoon a small amount of the filling.

Step 7: 7. Add a spoonful of cherry pie filling on top.

Step 8: 8. Bake at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for approximately 20 minutes in the oven.

Step 9: 9. Allow the danishes to cool slightly.

To Make the Icing:

Step 10: 10. Combine the milk and confectioners’ sugar to make the icing, then brush the Danishes with this icing mixture.
