Cloned Texas Roadhouse Steak

Ingredients:

  • 2 pounds of sirloin steak
  • 1 tablespoon of brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon of salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon of onion powder
  • 2 teaspoons of black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon of paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon of turmeric
  • 1 teaspoon of chili powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon of garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon of garlic salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon of cornstarch

Instructions:

  1. Combine all the ingredients in a securely sealed ziplock bag. Shake the bag vigorously to ensure thorough mixing of the ingredients.
  2. Generously apply the seasoning mixture to both sides of the steak.
  3. Allow the steak to marinate with the seasoning for a minimum of 40 minutes at room temperature for optimal flavor.
  4. Preheat your grill to 400 degrees Fahrenheit (200 degrees Celsius).
  5. Prepare the grill grates by either spraying them with oil or wiping them with an oil-soaked cloth. You can use vegetable oil, olive oil, or canola oil for this step.
  6. Place the seasoned steaks on the hot grill and cook for 3 to 5 minutes on each side, adjusting the cooking time based on your preferred level of oneness.
  7. Once the steaks are done, remove them from the grill and let them rest for at least 5 minutes before slicing or serving.
  8. Enjoy your delicious meal!
