Chocolate Chip Cookie

Here’s a fantastic recipe for the crowd-pleasing holiday favorite: Chocolate Chip Cookie Bars!Ingredients:
– 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, melted
– 1 cup granulated sugar
– 1 cup packed brown sugar
– 2 large eggs
– 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
– 3 cups all-purpose flour
– 1 teaspoon baking soda
– 1/2 teaspoon salt
– 2 cups chocolate chips (semi-sweet or milk chocolate)

**Instructions:**
1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking pan or line it with parchment paper.

2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the melted butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar. Stir until well combined.

3. Add the eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.

4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.

5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. Be careful not to overmix.

6. Fold in the chocolate chips until evenly distributed throughout the dough.

7. Press the cookie dough into the prepared baking pan, spreading it out evenly.

8. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean or with a few moist crumbs.

9. Remove from the oven and allow the cookie bars to cool completely in the pan on a wire rack.

10. Once cooled, use a sharp knife to cut the bars into squares or rectangles.

11. If freezing, place the cooled bars in an airtight container or freezer bag, separating layers with parchment paper. Thaw for about 10 minutes at room temperature before serving.
